Each trail has a short title reflecting the emphasis of the Syllabus on some aspect of polymer chemistry. The trails show polymer chemistry in various contexts: industrial processes, chemistry in society, and social and environmental implications.

To highlight the relation to the syllabus, each page in the trail clearly displays the syllabus reference number and the title of the trail.
